What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance that originated in Brazil in the early 1990s as an evolution of Lambada. When Lambada music lost popularity, dancers began using Caribbean Zouk music, adapting their movements and developing a new dance style — now known worldwide as Brazilian Zouk.
No partner required — but if you have one, you’re welcome to dance together.
Everyone is welcome. The important thing is to enjoy dancing!
